Key Responsibilities

Cross-Team Coordination
  • Act as the single point of contact between the India, China, and US (Seattle) teams.
  • Maintain daily communication with the China engineering and production teams.
  • Ensure all technical clarifications, CAD changes, and feedback loops are documented and relayed promptly.
Project & Timeline Management
  • Build and maintain detailed project trackers covering all sub-components (PCB, display, plastics, motors, etc)
  • Track key production milestones: design freeze, tooling, pilot runs, shipment of pre-production units, and final validation.
  • Pre-empt bottlenecks, manage dependencies, and flag risks before they impact timelines.
Logistics & Deliverables Tracking
  • Oversee movement of samples between Shenzhen, Seattle, and Chennai.
  • Coordinate 3D printing schedules, courier documentation, and customs clearances for prototypes.
  • Maintain transparent dashboards for shipment status and ETA updates.
Documentation & Reporting
  • Maintain version-controlled repositories for design files, test reports, and BOM updates.
  • Prepare concise weekly progress summaries for internal and investor use.
  • Track all engineering change requests (ECRs) and ensure timely resolution.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 1–4 years of project management experience in hardware, consumer electronics, or manufacturing operations.
  • Strong familiarity with product development cycles (prototype → DFM → pilot → mass production).
  • Notion & Google Sheets proficiency.
  • Clear written communication skills in English. Verbal is a bonus.
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and accountability.
Bonus Points
  • Prior experience liaising with Asian OEMs or component suppliers.
  • Exposure to CAD workflows or mechanical/electrical engineering concepts.
  • Understanding of import/export logistics and prototype shipment processes.

Compensation Range ₹8–14 LPA (CTC)
  • ₹8–10 LPA: solid entry-to-mid PM from a consumer hardware, D2C, or light manufacturing background.
  • ₹10–12 LPA: with China supplier exposure or strong cross-functional coordination experience.
  • ₹12–14 LPA: hardware launch experience, 4y+ international supplier management experience, and (very nice to have) bilingual (English + Mandarin) ability.
